C'est la Johanne Vie!

Welcome to the musical life of Johanne Vie, a Norwegian singer and songwriter based in Fjerdingby outside Oslo.

Her solo debut album Beautiful Girl was conceived during a period when her self-confidence had hit rock bottom. It is a strong and personal collection of songs which can serve as inspiration for any girl, woman, boy or man who are in need of a boost to their self-esteem.

With music as part of her genes, Johanne - born on October 18, 1966 - has been singing as long as she can remember. She is an all-round singer and songwriter, and also an educated performer of piano and violin. She was also previously a band leader as well as backing vocalist in the genre of Christian pop.
